Life is a learning experience

Started Hemodialysis Tech training this week. Began with learning the anatomy and physiology of the kidney. It is so interesting to me how important the kidneys are to the overall health of the body. The kidneys keep the body in balance in order for the rest of the body to work at a normal healthy way. When the kidneys are not working normally then it becomes a matter of life and death in get the right kind of treatment to stay alive!
